What is it?

The Fulbright Specialist Program is designed for U.S. faculty and professionals to collaborate with professional counterparts on curriculum and faculty development, institutional planning and a variety of other activities. Grants are awarded for projects that have to be completed within 2 - 6 weeks.  The program is open to qualified U.S. scholars and professionals in specified fields.

These awards are a creative and cost-effective way to access U.S. academics and professionals who may not be free to come for longer periods as part of the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Awards. The Specialists can be brought in to assist with any aspect of the institutional development, such as new courses, research programs, or administrative structures, for example.

How to Apply?

The Council of International Exchanges of Scholars manages the application process on behalf of the Fulbright Commission. More details about the program and how to apply can be found here.
